After being uncomfortably evaluated by sick Bay, despite the fact that they have some beautiful ladies even in there. Sebastian started to realize this ship has some of the most beautiful women in all of Starfleet. However one lady was really standing out to him, and just his fate would have it, she walked into the double doors.

Sebastian had found a table, it was a small table to the window by itself with just two seats. At first he was just going to eat alone because he's thought there was way too many women here way too many guys and too many people trying to hit up on each other. He knew his best course of action was the mind his own business wait to see who ended up with you and not get into a pissing contest with other guys.

Plus there's only one girl that really got Sebastian's attention and it was a brief encounter as she was walking out of sick Bay and he was walking into sick Bay. And out here she was walking into the mess hall getting in line. He quickly positioned his tray appropriately. As he picked up his drink and took a small sip.

Kaayu being the shy bajoran didnt say much to the other guys, she saw the one in the Mess Hall, and walked over to him. "Hello I'm new , is it ok to sit by you," she said as she mentioned the chair to him in a friendly way.

"Please join me." Sebastian said trying to hold in his excitement. He was trying to sound cordial and warm and inviting. He stood up and pulled out the chair for her.

Kaayu smiled, "Thank you ,how generous of you." She said to him, as she sat down to enjoy her meal in mess Hall.

"So you mentioned your new around here. Me too, we kind of bumped into each other earlier today in sickbay. You're walking out as I was checking in." Sebastian suggested is he took another ship, looking to make small talk and trying to keep his emotions in check.

Kaayu looked at him, "Oh we did, I'm sorry wasn't paying attention. I was getting hungry for the mess Hall, Sorry" she told him in a grin." Did you come from the Academy or another ship?" She asked him in a friendly way.

"Mostly from the Academy, waited for an opening. Then the Scharnhorst opened up and seized the opportunity." Sebastian suggested, as he started to recall his time after the Academy. For a short time he was on Earth Space Dock as a temporary operations officer. It was really mundane work.

Kaayu nodded, "sound's like me in the Academy." she chuckled as she enjoys the conversation. "So you single or seeing anyone?" Kaayu also asked. "Being new i haven't had the chance to see anyone in the academy." she also said taking a bite of her meal and enjoying her drink of bajoran tea.

"Straight to the point." Sebastian said, feeling a little nervous. This question could be loaded, a test. He hoped not. He gave a nervous grin, as he said. "I'm single too."

Kaayu smiled, "Well I hope you find the right one." she said, "I don't know if anyone would except me being a lonely Ensign." Kaayu sighed. She continued with her meal and drinking her Tea.

"Your teasing me right, a drop dead hottie like you?" Sebastian said, thinking this had to be some sort of test. Was he going to fail it? She was way to pretty to be talking like like. Any guy would want to be with her.

"Maybe." Kaayu said, she continued to look at him. (Thinking to herself - He seems to be a hot looking guy.)
Kaayu enjoyed his company a lot.

"That's a start. I'll take it." Sebastian said with a big warm smile on his face.

Kaayu Smiled, "You asking me out?" she wondered as she was through with her meal and drinking Tea.

"I was getting around to it. You are very direct, aren't you?" Sebastian asked with a big grin on his face. He loved how direct she was being.

Kaayu chucked, I thought you were, but i beat you to it", She laughed,"I'd love to go out with you."
she giggled more.

"The holodeck would make a great location for a first date." Sebastian said, hoping to lock down the the date before she changed her mind and came to her senses.

Kaayu smiled, "Sure, you pick the spot on the holodeck." She smiled as she finished her tea.

"I'll do that, but for that I want to get to know you. How long have you been on the Scharnhorst?" Sebastian ass as he really wanted to get to know her better.

"I just started on this ship, I'm right out of the academy," she smiled. I'm 23 years old, my red hair is natural, I was born and raised on Bajor." she smiled more telling a little of her self.

"Are you very religious?" Sebastian asked, trying to keep the conversation going. He wanted to know about this beautiful Bajoran woman. Who she was, what she liked and even what preferred. And of course if she as religious.

"I'm religious being Bajoran", are you religious? " Kaayu asked him as she grabbed another bajoran tea to drink. she wo wondered why the questions and what not, but she didnt mind he wanted to get to know her.

"I don't mean it sound insensitive, what is the Bajaron way?" Sebastian asked, wondering is it something he should embrace or is this something he should flee from. He needed more information.

Kaayu smiled at him, "There's no Bajoran way." She said as she moved closer to him, and gleamed into his eyes, "your one handsome gentleman." she said to him. "We only wear one earring to prove our Bajoran Heritage." she also said.

"But you said, I'm religious the Bajoran Way. Now I am really confused." Sebastian said, not sure what to make of her contradicting statement.

"Theres not a bajoran way." she said, "It was my mix-up, we just have one religion amongst us Bajorans." she said being nervous in the religion questions.

"Oh that makes more sense. Sorry I was a little confused, I did not want to be disrespectful to your culture and especially to you." Sebastian said, with a warm smile on his face. He felt foolish for asking.

Kaayu chuckled a bit, "Oh your good everything is fine," she smiled at him as she patted his one shoulder to make sure she wasn't mad at him. "People these days just need to learn more." she also said.

Sebastian thought I was a little weird that she was patting his shoulder but he let it go. He just had a big smile on his face. "So what do you think about a holodeck adventure, in the near future?"

Kaayu smiled at him, "I love holodeck adventures."she said with a bright smile on her face, looking at him,."Can you get me something to drink, like some Bajoran tea lite sugar." she smiled more being really interested in him.

"Then let's make it a date " Sebastian said, as the scene starts to fade away

Alright, a date it is." She said as she got up.
